Our Spanish Coffee Stout is a joint collaboration between our friends at Street 14 Café, Pilot House Distilling, and (a friend of a friend) Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Beginning with a lighter bodied and smooth stout to lay a chocolate and nutty base for the beer, we then transferred the beer onto 5 gallons of delicious Stumptown Nitro Original Cold-Brew, Madagascar vanilla beans, and Hungarian Oak staves that had been soaked in local Pilot House Distilling “Barrelman” Rum and fresh orange peel. Finishing as an approachably delicious concoction that floats the line between beer and coffee cocktail – great for breakfast or any time.
